I have a lot of family photographs, most in good condition. But every once in a while I come across a unique shot that is in terrible condition. For example, the one above, taken about 1948. We are visiting my grandparents in Wayne, Nebraska. Dad’s driving the tractor, I’m at the right, Jeanie’s at the left of him, and Tom is on the horse. I love this shot! So I went to work on it in Photoshop.
I removed the color because there wasn’t any in the original photo.

Then I cleaned up some of the stains, scratches and fold marks.

Is it like new? No, not by a long way, but I’m left with a photograph that looks pretty good on the computer. And that’s where most of my family photos are these days.
oh that is such a cool tractor and now you have a copy of that photo on the internet for safe keeping if your computer ever goes down there the photo still is
