The Norka Series of little books was printed in the early 1900s “bound in Ooze leather, printed in two colors, cover stamped in gold, 25 cents.” These are two that my grandmother, Ruth Bressler Claycomb, received from her parents. They are about 2 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches.
My grandmother also had tiny books…an entire set of maybe two dozen. I don’t know the titles or publisher or dates, because one of my nieces has them. But they must have been generally popular. I had never seen or heard of any others until now.

I think she was just dating it ‘Christmas 1913’ and signing it ‘Mother’. Do you collect the Norka series?

Oh now I get it!
I don’t have any tiny books, but books are one of my favorite grabs at tag sales and antique shops. So I’m going to start keeping an eye out for these! #Newaddiction
